Why is the UK more expensive than USA

Ive converted all the prices to the US dollar as you can see

2 bedroom flat average
London $1,667
New York City $200

Petrol average
UK $10
USA $4

So guess your wages are lower than in the UK to even out the spending. So all your products must be very cheaper than ours. My friend who have been US to shop said everything is very cheap.

Why dont people here in the UK save all their money and spend it in the USA aint the USA like an all year half price sale to us.

This agent will also need to give some of that money to the broker company(example:Remax). So how much this agent will make?

Can you write off the loss of a personal home sale?

We have a house in NC that we have had on the market for 1.5 years, reducing the price as we go. We just received an offer that is $55k below our asking price. We are looking at taking a $25k loss on the house from the calculations of what we owe.
